If the first few months of the year are an indicator of the year to come, what a busy and exciting year 2024 will be!
The Pilgrm Hotel in Paddington London hosted an exclusive evening with cocktails and questions and a bit of live painting from me. It was great fun, and always a pleasure visiting The Pilgrm Hotel, with its friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I was so engrossed in chat, I didn’t get to finish the Lowry style painting on the night, but it is now completed and will be auctioned off by The Pilgrm for charity this month. My next talk is at Seaford Art Club in Seaford, East Sussex, on the 8th of March 2-4pm. The club forms an integral part of the community, bringing together like-minded artists to share their ideas and inspiration through art. I’m very much looking forward to meeting the members and talking about all things art. Non-members are welcome. Please contact Seaford Art Club directly.
I have also made my debut on ZDF German TV! Mima Mittags Magazin reports on current events and topics, and I was delighted to have been interviewed by Hilke to talk about Art forgery for the show. (link attached).
The charming Rosalind Esche @Dear Reader Blog has an upcoming podcast with me and the police officer who arrested me many years ago, Graham Bartlett. We talk with Rosalind about the past, and how we’ve both moved on – Graham is now a policing advisor to authors and TV writers, a documentary maker, plus an author and blogger too. (@gbpoliceadvisor). I’ll keep you updated as to when the podcast will be aired.
Cloud Gallery Brighton has had a new refurb and will be opening its doors again this weekend. I’ve just dropped down a few new pieces and I’m sure Gavin and the team would love to see you all supporting the high street galleries.
