David Henty Newsletter April 2024
Please let there be light! With six months of rain and grey skies, I am praying the sun will soon appear. As an artist I rely so much on the light, not just for my mental health but for the colours whilst painting. So, let’s hope Spring and longer days will bring better weather very soon!
March was very busy for me, with commissions and talks. I would like to thank Seaford Art Club for a wonderful reception and Rosalind at Dear Reader Blog for hosting Graham Bartlett and myself on her Crime Scene Podcast.
I was also interviewed by The New York Observer – I’ll keep you updated as to when it will be released.
More upcoming dates for your diaries – I will be in Dunkeld Scotland week commencing the 8th of April for an evening at Hatton House Art and Design – If you are in that neck of the woods, do pop in.
On May 16th I’ll be at the beautiful Fetcham Park in Surrey for Bright Cancer Care talking about art and my recovery from a Pancreatic Tumour. Tickets will be available through the charity Bright Cancer Care based at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guilford.
Here’s to sunny Spring days, All the best, David Henty
