July Newsletter 2020
Well, we’re already halfway through 2020, a year that we can safely say has been like no other. Thankfully the art market at least is back in full swing – our private viewing room is open and galleries across the UK have now also opened their doors.
At the end of June I was invited to celebrate The Midsummer Festival on the Pier – all at a social distance of course. Brighton’s Latest T.V. put on a great show for the #supportourvenues. The charity is part of a national initiative launched by the music venue trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues. The Latest hosted some great musicians and singers for a live stream from the Palace Pier Brighton. I finished painting ‘Le Marin’ after Picasso live on the show and it has been donated to the save our venue crowd fundraiser. Bids are open until the end of July, to win the painting please contact bill@thelatest.co.uk or Andrew@cloudgalleryfineart.co.uk.
The magazine interview for Zoneone Arts is also available to view now, on our press page and online at zoneonearts.com.au
I’m looking forward to normality resuming and more exciting projects in the pipeline – Zoom meetings being the new thing! Hopefully the next six months will be productive.
