Contrary to how it might feel right now, spring is in the air!

What a start to the year it’s been, with the Coronavirus closing galleries and museums across the globe. Being an artist, however, is possibly the best job to have at the moment. For me, self-isolation is ideal. I can crack on with the William Waterhouse collection and various T.V. projects that are in the pipeline without the guilt of not going out!! (More information about the T.V. projects in the pipeline when all confirmed!) An exciting year for David Henty Art.

February presented me with a fortuitous find in an Antique shop in Brighton where I obtained a fantastic Florentine carved wood gilt frame. It’s got me searching through my library of reference books for a worthy painting to suit this beautiful and unique frame – any ideas appreciated!
